Comment:

 This is something that's very difficult to fix, since the "correct" way to
 deal with it involves assigning to `__name__` in the function returned by
 the decorator, which breaks compatibility with Python 2.3. I'm honestly
 not certain it's worth the effort that would be needed to work around it
 in other ways.
