Maybe I'm missing something here, but why are you importing things in
`__init__.py`?
Also, this feels like a question that's more appropriate for the django-
users mailing list. I'm going to mark as invalid and ask that discussion
move there; if there's an actual bug we can revisit it in Trac as needed.
