I get this consitently if I add ThreadLocals middleware defined here:
http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/CookBookThreadlocalsAndUser
at this point browsing admin site outputs the error in the developement
console.
Appearently there is no other problem. Sometimes I get the error only on
the second hit
of the page
