 Jessamyn, it'd be great if you could provide a test case for the
 [http://bugs.python.org/issue19469 Python bug] or at least nail down the
 reason why you can reproduce the problem but no one else who has tried
 can. I'm a bit reluctant to commit the patch until we figure that out.
