Comment:

 Do any template tags that use the "as" syntax work that way? I doubt it
 but I haven't checked. Probably the behavior should be documented in
 [https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/templates/language/#template-
 inheritance template inheritance] -- this likely isn't specific to `{%
 trans %}` and `{% blocktrans %}`.
