Comment:
Just my 2c:
* It doesn't matter whether two users have the same salt.
* The same salt doesn't mean they get the same hash
* Please name clearly what "known issues" you think SHA-1 has. I'm not
aware of anything relevant for Django.
I pass this on to the core developers to decide.
