In order to obtain oxygen from the water the simplest form is
electrolysis. Basically it consists of making pass an electrical current
through water and gather formed gases.
It can test simple using a battery of 4.5 volts (of those of case) and
introducing two copper cables together with the battery in a container
with water. It will see that gases in both are given off, in the anode
takes place oxygen (positive pole) and in the cathode hydrogen takes place
(negative pole). The gases take shelter with inverted tubes
