Yes it's related. Supporting transforms/lookups in the `F()` expression
will automatically fix #25534 (see
[https://github.com/django/django/blob/f8ef5f2c86683bef3b200fd864efc14f1fbbc23b/django/db/models/expressions.py#L185-L190
BaseExpression._parse_expressions()]).
