Thanks for this ticket, as far as I'm aware this is a duplicate of #20495
(which is generally about increasing logging in the authentication but
with concrete examples like failed login attempts). Please check this
discussion.
For the future, you'll reach a wider audience if you write to the
DevelopersMailingList about your ideas. A trac ticket should contain a
description of what do you want to log not only an idea ''"...increase the
amount of logging"''.
