Refs #35844 -- Used asgiref.sync.iscoroutinefunction() instead of
deprecated asyncio.iscoroutinefunction().
Fixes DeprecationWarning:
'asyncio.iscoroutinefunction' is deprecated and slated for removal in
Python 3.16; use inspect.iscoroutinefunction() instead.
