#7892: erratic Internal Server Error problem with new update

Hi,
I have a problem with the latest development release that I suspect is
caused by a bug. I already put a request for help on the Users List. I
am not an expert user.
I upgraded from dev version 7933.
With the latest version, I get an erratic error when I try to load pages.
Sometimes I get an internal server error message in Apache error.log
(Apache & Django errors below).
Sometimes I get the standard 500 page.
And sometimes there's no problem & the page is loaded.
It doesn't look like an Apache problem as I'm running another very simple
Django project on the same server & that has no problems.
I suspect it's a bug as (a) I don't think there's anything wrong with my
template, contrary to what the Django error says and (b) the problem is
erratic.
