#14439: Improve documentation on how to run the GIS test suite --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: lukeplant | Owner: nobody Status: reopened | Milestone: Component: GIS | Version: 1.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Stage: Accepted | Has_patch: 0 Needs_docs: 0 | Needs_tests: 0 Needs_better_patch: 0 | --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Comment (by jbronn):
As of r14653, you no longer need a project settings file. The following will suffice for a settings file: {{{ #!python TEST_RUNNER='django.contrib.gis.tests.GeoDjangoTestSuiteRunner' DATABASES = { 'default': { 'ENGINE': 'django.contrib.gis.db.backends.postgis', 'NAME': 'geodjango', 'USER': 'geodjango', }, } }}} In other words, if the above were in a file called `postgis.py`, then `django-admin.py test --settings=postgis` would run the !GeoDjango test suite. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/14439#comment:8> Django <http://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
