Because you asked for feedback:
1. myfancynewpatch.diff is a good name; but maybe patch_for_ticket_xxxxx
is better? You might even set a convention here. :)
2. What I do when I run tests, I just make a symlink to django in the test
directory, so I don't need to mess with python paths.
Great great work, I wish I had read it two years before! :)
