Comment:
We didn't switch to HTML5 - we switched to HTML5 doctypes for bundled
templates, especially the admin, which is quite different. We still need
our output to be XHTML compliant as much as possible, because people could
be using our output in XHTML templates.
Sorry for the confusion.
