Comment:

 When installing `PIL` using `setup.py install` or via `pip` you get clear
 warnings that support for a specific format is not available.

     To add a missing option, make sure you have the required
     library, and set the corresponding ROOT variable in the

 IMHO the warning raised by `PIL`'s setup nails it but I'd like to hear
 someone else about that.
