I was having some problem creating the test database on PostGIS2.
``sql_table_creation_suffix`` was trying to use the template database.
As noted before, PostGIS2 still support the template database approach.
This new patch looks for the template database and uses it if it exists.
If it doesn't we raise an ``ImproperlyConfigured`` exception on PostGIS <
2.
