Comment:

 I don't think `__unicode__` is enough. The problem is that one can
 reasonably except the errors to be strings.

 I am marking this as wontfix as I don't see a clean way to do this. If we
 got to do this from clean slate the addition would make IMO sense. So, if
 you can figure out a clean way to do this, then reopen this.
