hello out there,

I'm shopping for a commercial host in Australian to host my Django app
... I've come across a decent one (www.quadrahosting.com.au) but they
only offer CGI. I emailed them about mod_python, but apparently:

"Not many people use mod_python, so it would be a waste of resource to
have a fully loaded server configuration. "

alas. Im willing to argue the point with the admin there, because
mod_python is a module, and shouldn't require any re-compiling or
dedicated configurations ...

Anyway, since I've never dealt with CGI before, my question is: is it
possible to run Django with CGI yet? If so, is there any documentation
?

Failing all that, and this host cannot be used, has anyone any
experience with Australian hosts that provide mod_python and SSH?

thanks for any help,

Alice
