Zeldman very politely suggests I'm nuts. :)

I've heard good things about Django.

I'm not sure exactly how a follow-on day could be arranged,
even if we were agreeable to the idea.

We don't own the spaces we're using in New York, Seattle, etc.

We pay to rent those spaces, and they cost a pretty penny.

So it's not like the space will be hanging around, freely
available, the day after an Event Apart event.

Thus from a practical pov it doesn't seem remotely workable.

Then, too, I'm not sure our content/code/design audience is a
good match for you.

There are at least 12 other problems with the idea, but my
main feeling is, we are very flattered by your question, but there
doesn't seem to be any realistic way to do what you're suggesting.
(But thanks for thinking of us, and continued good luck with Django!)
