There are a little misunderstanding in your posts. You don't need apache at
all for developing using django, even mysql is optional.
I'd suggest you to read the tutorial (
http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/intro/tutorial01/) and then come back
to some of the questions you ask below.
