Almost certainly yes -- but based on the details you provide, it isn't clear that the right place is Django's Trac instance. Django doesn't provide an LDAP auth backend, and you haven't provided any details on the backend that you are using. I'm not ruling out the possibility that the fault may lie with Django, but without more details on your auth setup, it's hard to provide feedback.
