I am on Ubuntu 10, using Python 2.6 and Django 1.2.3. Mike Ramirez suggested that I look at the site packages (in my case dist-packages) in my python lib dir. I did not see anything in there that references dajaxice. I may need to manually edit the PYTHONPATH once I figure out how and where.
