Hey fyl, Thanks very much for your insight. I agree that we should write several tutorials that focus on different learning styles -- one that starts from the ground up, another that starts with a full application and works "backward" to explain it, a screencast video, etc. We'll be adding these sorts of tutorials and examples as time goes on, but, for the moment, the tutorial is the best we've got. If you have any questions, I'd encourage you to ask them; people on this mailing list are super-nice and helpful!
