I didn't aim to start a discussion about which IDE is better. But every one has its own pros and cos.
While working with Aptana I had to recreate several times a broken workspace, a really annoying work. That was my main reason to switch from the free Eclipse-World to the (not expensive) PyCharm world. For me the most significant feature a IDE must provide is a vi-mode.
