Yeah, someone else just suggested that too. Seems a shame to have to fork it, for something so simple.

Having seen the discussion on the issue I think there is probably some merit on both sides.

Maybe a simple fix is to disable DDT in settings.py - just remove it altogether - then add it back in a local_settings.py just for the devs who need it?

I'm hoping that enough people in here will disagree with his decision, and that he'll change it back to how it should be, based on a majority vote. (I doubt this will happen, lol).
