Thanks for your response, perhaps you're right. I certainly agree that it's a PITA to have to pass the form with an error message by redirecting. However, I still think it's unfortunate that, after redisplaying the page with an error message, a subsequent attempt to reload the (POSTed) page results in a (possibly confusing) request to resend a form.
