I'm trying to follow the intro tutorial.
I am able to log in to my database from the command line (and via
MySQL Workbench) sans problem:
However, after changing my settings file to the correct values, I get:
_mysql_exceptions.OperationalError: (1044, "Access denied for user
'myuser'@'%' to database 'Mydatabase'")
My settings file contains:
DATABASES = {
'default': {
'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.mysql', # Add
'postgresql_psycopg2', 'postgresql', 'mysql', 'sqlite3' or 'oracle'.
'NAME': 'Mydatabase', # Or path to
database file if using sqlite3.
'USER': 'myuser', # Not used with
sqlite3.
'PASSWORD': 'mypassword', # Not used with
sqlite3.
'HOST': 'my.url.com', # Set to empty
string for localhost. Not used with sqlite3.
'PORT': '3306', # Set to empty string for
default. Not used with sqlite3.
}
}
How do I get rid of the '%' percent symbol for the local hostname?
Thanks for your help!
