I couldn't quite work out how to do that... there's not enough
guidance... so I created a method in Views.py like this...
def add_defaults(the_dict={}):
the_dict['BASE_URL'] = "/burningahole/"
the_dict['STATIC_URL'] = STATIC_URL
...etc....
return the_dict
...and when I render my templates I just...
def tagcloud(request):
words = Word.objects.all().order_by('value').order_by('-
product_count')[:100]
return render_to_response('tagcloud.html', add_defaults
( {'words':words} ) )
..clumsy but it works...
