What's the version of python you are using? Django 1.5 has dropped support for Python 2.5 (*see here <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15451900/installing-django-on-jython>* and *here <http://www.blogosfera.co.uk/2013/03/syntax-error-in-configuration-file-future-feature-unicode_literals-is-not-defined-pythondjangosphinx/>*). *Here is <http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?154,35312>* another similar problem with OSX.
