See http://forums.site5.com/showthread.php?t=10236 which deals with installing Django on the Python CGI environment at the hosting company Site 5 (Django Preferred Host). It involves installing Virtual Python and other measures. If you feel that you are up to it, you could refer GoDaddy to the thread and ask them if they can provide the same facilities.
