I can't say I can give any specific advice, other than 'upgrade to Django 0.95'. Django has undergone some fairly major changes since 0.91; a large number of problems with edit_inline have been identified and fixed since that time. There is no active development occurring on 0.91, and community knowledge about that release is evaporating rapidly. The chances of someone taking an interest in fixing a problem in 0.91 are fairly small unless there is a security issue at stake. Sorry that this doesn't really help you, but I thought that any answer would be better than leaving you wondering why you were not getting a response.
