Just for testing, I downgraded django to 1.8.4
# pip-3.4 install Django==1.8.4
You are using pip version 6.1.1, however version 7.1.2 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.
Collecting Django==1.8.4
Downloading Django-1.8.4-py2.py3-none-any.whl (6.2MB)

Installing collected packages: Django
Found existing installation: Django 1.9
Uninstalling Django-1.9:
Successfully uninstalled Django-1.9
Successfully installed Django-1.8.4
Now I get ImportError: No module named 'provider'.
