I'm new to Django and I'm trying an experiment using material.io. The problem I'm having is that the formfield injects the error messages and the label directly into the page instead of sending it to the widget template. Because of the way material.io builds controls, it would be nice to have that information available in the template so you can attach classes and logic to the various divs that surround a control. I was able to supress the injected items with css, but I can't find a way to get the error conditions and messages into the template. Am I just thinking about the widgets wrong?
