I have had issues with Django and cpanel. Last time I tried it was less than straightforward (cpanel's version of Apache would not work with the distro's mod_wsgi).
There are a number shared hosts who explicitly support Django, and even some who specialise in it. I would avoid deploying Django on others A VPS is not that hard to set up and better value.
