Oh and it's never one language at the front end. Start with HTML(5), throw in CSS and JS(ES6?).
And that's before jQuery(old hat), Vue, React, Angular(N). All of which look suspiciously like domain specific languages in their mutual incompatibility despite being JS. The reality is not of language choices, but that multiple domains have been found to exist, and trying to span them with one syntax is very hard.
