And just in case that looks like unintentional criticism of your offer to help, it definitely is not intended that way. All help is welcomed. I was only trying to explain why there are a couple of unapplied patches that look semi-useful in Trac and making an observation that, in the past, various people have said "I'd like to help here" and then been kidnapped by aliens or something and never heard from again.
