Probably not too much longer. I started thinking about this just over a week ago when I was looking at pre-1.0 things that still needed doing. It's not a huge job, so when I need a break from more difficult Django work, I'll probably just knock it out. Don't hold your breath -- it might be a week or two yet, or even a little longer, but it's something I'd like to get closed off, along with all the other uses of oldforms outside of admin (newforms-admin takes care of the last bit).
