Just followed the same instructions as u said.

SetHandler python-program
PythonHandler django.core.handlers.modpython
SetEnv DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE mysite.settings
PythonDebug On
PythonPath "['/home/priya'] + sys.path"
</Location>
No Change in http:localhost/mysite
Still pointing to the same error page.
EnvironmentError: Could not import settings 'mysite.settings' (Is it
on sys.path? Does it have syntax errors?): No module named
mysite.settings
