About Us: We are seeking some contract assistance with specific coding needs. We are a Canadian based company and would prefer Canadian programmers although US programmers should apply.
Deliverables: We will provide detailed specs and basic models and would require some backend development (model tweaking), URL and view creation, and some front basic templates. These modules would then be incorporated into an existing application. That integration would be handled by our staff. Requirements: Should be involved in Django / Python designing models, testing Django applications, writing template tags, views, middleware and decorators (probably not required for our contracts). Be updated with the Pythonista and advanced language features. Familiarity with AJAX (we use prototype now) would be a benefit. Skill with PIL, MatPlotLib and ReportLab would also be beneficial. The position is contract based and would not require relocation. Communication would be via Skype (or Google Talk) and email primarily. Additional contracts would be awarded based on the success of the first project.
