yes, you're right, i'm not doing production on the same machine as development and test. my ISP does support python (and perl and php and mysql). i wonder if it would be easier to just test on my ISP! since they have a sys admin.
i have xports here.... i'm actually trying to do something that i thought was REALLY simple. in fact, i think i have most of the python code and html for doing it! just a little web-db app. but the install and setup are hairier than lisp!
