I haven't had a chance to look at that bug yet, except to reproduce it (and to remove Ivan from my Christmas card list for this year). So, unfortunately, it'll still be broken in the 1.0-alpha release that should be tagged today. Later this week I'll have some time to sit down and nail the half dozen or so open SQL bugs that are floating around, so these things should be fixed by the beta release.
