Hi there. Following scenario:
I have a model that contains several options about the layout of a page, for example background-image and background-color, some text fields etc. the model also has a unique slug field, which indicates where the page is located. Now I want to write a form that allows users to edit these options and customize the page. The form should contain both a "save" and a "preview" button. previewing should display the page with the new layout (aka the information has to be stored somewhere) but should not overwrite the old values. the slug field limits the possibility of simply copying the instance, since it would violate the unique rule. How would you go about solving this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
