Hello.

I have a model with an ImageField attribute. When that model is
deleted the file is deleted as well but if the user uploads a another
file, the original will never be deleted.

This is like http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/6157

In the comments someone mentioned that this would be covered by the
rewrite of the file saving backends but I don't see it anywhere so I
think I'll have to write code for it.

My question is, should this code reside in the overridden save()
method like the code in the ticket, in a pre-save signal, or is there
someplace better like a hook in the storage system?
