Hi, all.
For various reasons, I prefer to use python 2.6 on my computer. Since
mod_python and mod_wsgi won't work on Python 2.6, I have to use FCGI
or switch to Python 2.5. I have flup installed without any problems.
However, when I try to run this command:
manage.py runfcgi method=threaded host=127.0.0.1 port=9000
Nothing happens. I get no status message or anything. If I then run
this:
manage.py runfcgi protocol=scgi method=threaded daemonize=false
host=127.0.0.1 port=9000
I get "WSGIServer starting up", but nothing else happens, and I get
server 500 errors from Apache.
I know the flup library officially doesn't support Windows, and I also
know that there are indications that fcgi simply won't work on Windows
at all. But the Django site describes people getting it working on
Windows machines. Could someone please help? I don't want to have to
switch to Python 2.5 to be able to use mod_python.
