hi, I develop intranet apps with a lot of forms. Sometimes I need to render them as readonly. I use snippet 1682 (see below) to make widgets readonly.
This way you can use the same code for viewing and editing a form. Are more django user using something like this? If yes, it would be nice to get this in to django (or contrib).
