Not to my knowledge. Condensing them into drop-downs could be an option, though. That might make an interesting patch. I'm not familiar with that part of the code, but it would honestly be more of a template tweak than much code.
I'm busy with several projects for the time being, but it would be interesting to look into. I know that there's a branch called "admin- ui" which will be replacing the current admin in March, with version 1.2. I'm only aware of just a couple of changes, and I'm not sure that this is one of them, but there could be something in there to help facilitate that.
