It's not how much or how little you know. It's how you ask the question. There 
are a lot of people on this list who will willing answer the most elementary 
question, if the request is made in a way that shows that you're not asking 
people to be mind readers or do your work for you.

Be conscious of the fact that they (as well as any group on the Internet) will 
have a low tolerance for vague and lazy questions and dozens or hundreds of 
people who will help you if you ask the question properly.
