Did some research and seems your right... http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/askjack/2009/apr/16/copyright-ebooks Interestingly I downloaded several django related ebooks and as a result purchased two paper versions from Epress, The Definitive Guide... and Practical Django Projects. I found the chance to preview the digital versions before purchase a great help. I wont be using the FreeBookSpot Service or similar in future but you can still pay for digital versions direct from Apress.
