the code that I have is all very specific to where I work. I'd have to clean it up a bit to try to make it useful to you. There's also several other people who have posted snippets for backends based on LDAP or Active Directory: http://www.djangosnippets.org/tags/ldap/ A few of these are very similar to what I've done.
