What'sup party kids!!! We just wanted to invite you
to our free festival in the park...
IMAGINE: fun, sun, and hotdog buns!
Imagine will take place this Saturday, September 22 from
11am to 7pm in a beautiful Oakland park. There are
three acres of grass, bbq pits, bike paths, a dock,
and a gorgeous veiw of the city.
There will be three stages of music including DJs:
Dyloot, Denise aka DJ D, Tracer, Greg Sandler, Happy
Kid Marty, Anthony Mad, Impulse, Madame Mercury,
Uphonic, Tom Slik, Telene, Elemental, Prophet, Havok
and the Intalekt MCs, Kid Carson, David Anthony, PFM
aka Paul the Fanman, Nick Griffin, SpazzTic and just
added... MARS !
But of course that's not it. For your entertainment,
there will also be a DJ dunk tank, a bounce house,
baby pools, a slip and slide contest (don't forget
your suit), face painting, and free snowcones
and cotton candy.
Of course it wouldn't be a Unity event if it wasn't a benefit.
So... all we ask for in return is that you bring a donation
of a clean stuffed animal for the Lend A Hand
Foundation's Annual Toy Drive. It is not reqired, but
we sincerely hope you will try. This will be a great
opportunity for us to show the Bay Area
just how positive our community can be.
Also, in response to the recent trajedy in America,
we will be collecting donations for the American Red
Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Remember this is not a
requirement, just a request. It's our turn to help our
country in a time of need and it's time for us ravers to
unite and, once again, show our compassion to those
in need!
